    Seems like a maintainer says it's not an upstream issue: This seems well outside of YOURLS and its stack. You're getting an nginx error message, but Cloudron builds its YOURLS container using Apache. Do you have an nginx reverse proxy in front of your Cloudron apps? That would be where to start. Maybe it's an nginx issue?

    just some wild guess - are you using usernames with "." or capitals or something like that ? if you know php, might be easy to debug that plugin.

    Since you have some issues hosting your own Yourls. Maybe you'd like to give Cloudron a try? You can visit https://www.cloudron.io/ for more information and there is also a demo instance located here https://my.demo.cloudron.io/ Use the username cloudron and the password cloudron. Then you can try it and just install Yourls from the app store.

    I found the culprit - Simple LDAP Auth Plugin was deactivated. Not sure how (I?) caused it in the process. Now I can confirm this way its working - moving yours from old server to cloudron, keeping existing URL. For all migrations, I started to move DNS management with the existing DNS records to be managed by cloudron. setup yourls with directory user credentials in a temporary (sub)domain, install your custom plugins (if you had any), make sure, your plugins are activated, especially "Simple LDAP Auth Plugin", make sure custom yourls settings in /app/code/user/config.php are the same like before (especially: YOURLS_URL_CONVERT and YOURLS_UNIQUE_URLS), dump existing database from other installation and uploaded to /tmp, drop existing tables from existing cloudron yourls db as per https://docs.cloudron.io/guides/import-mysql/, import database dump, as described in the guide, confirm your redirects are still working, move yourls to the final location. Done - without interruption, as DNS will switch from old server to cloudron, if you set DNS to be managed by cloudron.

    @necrevistonnezr I’m not sure, I solved it by opening the file in the (new) Filemanager just add one letter in a comment line and save it again.

    @lazycantaloop Did you install sleeky in the lamp app ? Also, just to double check.. are you using Cloudron (this is a Cloudron forum) ? If it's a general sleeky question, you might have to ask this in their forums.

    @nebulon thanks. Perhaps make https://cloudron.io/documentation/apps/yourls/ even clearer by saying something like "if you're using Cloudron user integration you do not need to change the admin password, just login using your Cloudron credentials".
