Peertube on Cloudron: HLS Transcoding and Setting up HTTP proxy environment variables
-
We are all looking forward to the major new version 6 of Peertube on Cloudron.
- HLS Transcoding
HTTP Live Streaming (HLS) is an option available on Peertube. Most people would want it, to improve streaming quality when some of the audience have less bandwidth. WebTorrent is a nice feature to have too, isn't it? For example, during a livestream, a larger audience could help with content delivery. Wouldn't most people want WebTorrent enabled, too? (It does double the video storage requirement, though.)

- Proxy Environment Variables
Peertube allows us to eg allow import with HTTP URL (e.g. YouTube) or allow channel synchronization with channel of other platforms like YouTube (requires allowing import with HTTP URL)

How does one go about setting up the http proxy?
