Which domain name did you change? The dashboard domain? does it resolve to the correct IP?

Just guessing here, but I suggest changing back to domain 1 and then adding domain 2 to Cloudron as per https://docs.cloudron.io/domains/

Then if you want to change your dashboard domain:

          https://docs.cloudron.io/domains/#dashboard-domain

There is no way for Cloudron to magically know what you've done on Hetzner.

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

              Hello @ikka

@ikka said in domain name change:

Just changing the domain in Hetzner does not configure Cloudron to change its domain.

              Yes and No.
Even if you have no access to the old domain you can still use it.
In the Cloudron docs for backup restore dry run => https://docs.cloudron.io/backups/#dry-run
There is a part about overriding your local DNS with the hosts file.
You can do the same now here.
Edit your hosts file and set the IP to the domail1. This way you force your computer to resolve this domain with the IP you have set there.
This way you should get access to your Cloudron dashboard again and do the real domain switch there.

You should do this - https://docs.cloudron.io/troubleshooting/#domain-issues-expiry
