I'd love to see a text creation/edit tool in surfer. Because often I only want to make small edits in a text file. But editing locally and then deleting the old file in surfer and uploading the new is is just to cumbersome. So basically I end up completely bypassing the whole surfer UI 95% of the time (except for when I want to copy the public link) and just use the file manager instead.

This is currently not really on our roadmap, we will likely instead improve the filemanager more and keep surfer as minimal as possible.

Do you mean the files text editor should be put in Surfer just like in Filemanager ? I miss this often too for quick changes (Both New File and Edit File).

Also things like zip/unzip would be very convenient to have in as well the Filemanager as Surfer Admin.
