Update 0.30 Causes Events to Disappear

After updating to version 0.3.0, the birthday entries—which were one day long—disappeared. I reverted to version 0.1.0 and tried the updates again. Still no birthdays in 0.3.0.
I tried re-importing the birthdays, but they aren’t showing up. When I import the 2026 holidays, those do appear.
A direct installation of 0.3.0
I’m going to stick with version 0.2.0 for now.

Oh thanks for testing, can you maybe extract one such birthday event as an ics file and send it to support@cloudron.io if it contains sensitive data? Would be good to have that case fixed. Maybe there is some wrongly handled edgecase with those events.

Also for the 2026 holidays do you have a link to the import file you use (I know that works, but just out of curiosity)?

So I was trying to reproduce this issue and got the .ics file with all those about 600 birthday events. However those all have the same UID, so they do map to the very same event in the end. Not sure if this was because of sanitizing the list or if this was related to some other problem. All in all I am not able to reproduce the disappearance though
