I see the issue now. The whitelist does not add 127.0.1.1 explicitly.
Debian/Ubuntu VPS images put the server's own hostname in /etc/hosts as 127.0.1.1.
An app update will be available in a few minutes.

Can you please check your /app/data/env file if it contains the APP_REMOTE_HOST_WHITE_LIST setting?
And if that is existing, what is set for this key.
