    "Messages that have been in Trash more than 30 days will be automatically deleted."

    Is mentioned in the Trash-folder top. I don't want this automatic deletion but can't find the setting in the GUI?

        Yes this is true, both folders have an autoexpunge setting of 30 days. There is currently no setting for this similar to a lot of other mail server settings, like spam training metrics and all. Most of them are just defaults from the config files. I guess now we just let the users know about that fact.

        Edit: this is not related to the webmail app though, it is server side not client side.

            It was always the case for spam and we just synced up trash now. This is similar to the protonmail/gmail and the likes. So a bit of housekeeping.

              Yes but it’s my server and my rules. I use spam history for forensic analysis. But never realized it was emptied after 30 days, I really think this should be a server wide admin choice.

                I converted it to a feature request for Cloudron itself since it is backend related.
