And, in the age of AI where anyone can make anything, I thought I'd also share a starter template for making WordPress plugins.

It includes all the best-practices I know of for ai-coding, WordPress standards, maintenance, auto-updating from a GitHub or other Git repo, and the CI/CD actions — to make use of all the free code auditing tools now available for keeping apps secure and maintainable:

SEO Pro Stack is made from, and maintained alongside this for the core standards and framework.

Again, I hope the readme is self-explanatory for you and your AI — and the further documentation in the repo guides your AI on all the right ways to do things, including testing, and avoiding common hazards that can affect speed, security, or compliance with wp.org policies.

The screenshots give you an idea of the core framework and interfaces you can brand for your own identity, and build upon.

(It even includes some guidance on making nice branded hero and logo images with AI)
