    Problem
An event with an external attendee created in the web UI sends the invitation correctly. The same event created on Android (via DAVx5) syncs to the server, but the invitation e-mail is never sent (not in spam either). I added the attendee while editing an already saved event.

    Comparison
Same phone, same calendar app, same DAVx5, only the server differs: against Nextcloud the invitation is sent, against Cloudron Calendar it is not. So e-mail delivery works (it works from the web UI) and the client works.

Question: Does Calendar support sending invitations (CalDAV scheduling / iMIP) for events with attendees created or edited via a CalDAV client (DAVx5), or only from the web UI?

Good catch, this is not actually implemented yet. We will add that feature.

This should be fixed in the latest version now.
