Can't change admin email

@girish no. I've tried doing that it loads of times but it doesn't work. Always just reverts to admin@cloudron.local.

It displays a message saying "profile updated" but it isn't.

Is this just me, or an actual bug in the code?

It works for me atleast. Is there any error in browser console or the app logs, by any chance?

Not that I can see.

But I don't use browser console much so perhaps I'm not looking properly.

Adding metadata to a book I uploaded didn't work either.

Deleted, re-installed, exactly the same behaviour. I enter new email, hit enter (or save button), page refreshes, "profile updated" message is displayed, old email is back in the email box.

OK thanks, maybe this bug will turn up when I write the tests.

I succeeded in changing the admin email by NOT changing it in the Admin profile but in the Admin section, click on the Admin user in the list and then change it there.

Indeed, it’s not possible there

Can confirm that email cannot be edited from the profile. It seems calibre itself returns 200 status code for the REST API call. Seems like some app bug.

Glad it wasn't just me!

Just as an FYI, I was able to change my pw there.

Just tried this again with latest version and email change works now.
