Demo on siteI read they cater to small to medium businesses. Can run via a server or as a stand alone app on various platforms.

@seeker I took this for a spin once, good data-structure. It's a breakaway group from Odoo. Does the job in some ways but no-where near the community and addons of Odoo. Nice option though.
Take a look at ERPNext if you're not already aware of that. IMHO a bit slicker than Tryton but not as mature as Odoo.

@marcusquinn Thanks. It is nice when someone has personal experience. I believe there were issues with Odoo and cloudron that made it difficult to package. I also believe there has been some discussion of ERPnext here as well. Will look further

@seeker Spent 15 years in ERP systems, hopefully to save others 14 years

My honest recommendation is Odoo. The others are nice to know for inspiration - but really, you never ever want to do an ERP migration, so best start with what you'll likely never need to change again.

I try to avoid mentioning a competitor to Cloudron but there are many Apps that are ready to run with using D2C.io if you want a similar self-hosted experience and to try other things without waiting.
I'm 100% a Cloudron fan but certain critical missing apps do frustrate getting on and using things somewhat because the only true answer to many of these debates is having an instance to play with:
