LDAP import

From what I understand automatic LDAP integration is not (currently?) possible, but I assume manual import is, I've been staring at the settings and the docs (https://github.com/janeczku/calibre-web/wiki/LDAP-Login) and it appears to be connecting but not importing (or finding) users (Error: No user returned in response of LDAP server), is there a string that will let me import users?

@bubonicfred I am waiting for a response on how to import uses from the upstream project here - https://github.com/janeczku/calibre-web/issues/1656#issuecomment-706640702 . Currently, there is no easy way to import users. There is some info here - https://github.com/janeczku/calibre-web/wiki/LDAP-Login#import-users but I think you have to first disable LDAP, login as admin, sync users and enable LDAP (which ends up disabling admin). Quite convoluted.

Our org is small enough that we can work around it for now. but it would be nice to have properly in,

I get an error "Error: not all arguments converted during string formatting" if I try to Import LDAP Users as an admin.

so as what I read, it is currently not possible to use LDAP with calibre/cloudron I guess?

@grienauer yeah, LDAP isn't working at all.

LDAP was removed from the package.
