Hello, I don't want to start a new topic. The problem is similar, only now after the update, when uploading images in the web interface, it shows this error see attached screen. When I click beck to Pixelfeld, it takes me back to the main page, the photo is uploaded, but it doesn't show up for friends from other instances who follow me and not even in the Network Feed. Has anyone had a problem with this now too?
Thank you very much for the information Archos.pixelfed.png

@archos that seems to be a different issue and seems like the app is crashing midway. Do you see anything in the app logs?

@nebulon Thanks for the reply, don't know if that helps, it's a log entry when posting the photo.

Hi, so the problem with uploading images was only in Firefox. In Chromium web browser, the photos upload fine, but still my following from other instances can't see them. It's like the federation is not working. But the one running on Mastodon does show the new photos.

@archos I used to send pictures just fine with Fedilab and Pixeldroid
(lately pixeldroid had issues retaining the login credentials, it would output error 502 or 500)
so in my experience, until there is the official pixelfed app, the best for pixelfed is Fedilab 🙂
that's what I use, you could also check out Indigenous (indieweb mobile app also compatible with mast/pixel)

@rmdes Yes fedilab works fine, but it doesn't have editing filters. But even so, the photo doesn't show up in follower timelines on other instances. This was not a problem before the update.
I think an official app is in the works, but it's still in beta, so hopefully we'll see a release soon.

@girish I tried to ask in the pixelfed group on Matrix, I was answered
do you have php artisan route:cache
                    php artisan view:cache executed
Unfortunately I don't know where to look for php aristan

@nebulon I thought so, thank you for the information. I tried to write to support, so hopefully everything will gradually get sorted out.

Hi, just adding what I found out regarding this issue. It's a mysql database problem version 8 and above. There shouldn't be a problem with older databases. A fix is already in the works, so hopefully the bug will be fixed soon.

@girish Hi, unfortunately I've only addressed this in the Matrix group, has anyone had the same problem. On Github, no one has responded yet. So nothing specific yet.

@archos I have the same issue you describe above "...when uploading images in the web interface, it shows this error see attached screen."

However, in my case the photo upload is successful.
                                Steps to replicate:

                                • go to pixelfed profile page (logged in)
                                • click new
                                • add image
                                • upload image
                                • page displays ""Sorry, this page isn't available. The link you followed may be broken..."
                                • navigate to profile home page
                                • photo just uploaded is displayed
                                • click on timestamp
                                • page displays ""Sorry, this page isn't available. The link you followed may be broken"

For example, you can see from my account profile home-page (https://pixels.nuboso.ei8fdb.org/) I've uploaded 4 images from a photo exhibition, however when you try to follow the link (https://pixels.nuboso.ei8fdb.org/p/bernard/410168815321997319) to the individual post, you'll get the "Sorry, this page isn't available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed. Go back to Pixelfed."

I'm unsure where this is caused by. I don't see anything problematic in the log.

                                Any help appreciated!

(PS: federation also isn't working for me but that's another issue!)

@archos I have the same issue you describe above "...when uploading images in the web interface, it shows this error see attached screen."

However, in my case the photo upload is successful.
                                  Steps to replicate:

                                  • go to pixelfed profile page (logged in)
                                  • click new
                                  • add image
                                  • upload image
                                  • page displays ""Sorry, this page isn't available. The link you followed may be broken..."
                                  • navigate to profile home page
                                  • photo just uploaded is displayed
                                  • click on timestamp
                                  • page displays ""Sorry, this page isn't available. The link you followed may be broken"

For example, you can see from my account profile home-page (https://pixels.nuboso.ei8fdb.org/) I've uploaded 4 images from a photo exhibition, however when you try to follow the link (https://pixels.nuboso.ei8fdb.org/p/bernard/410168815321997319) to the individual post, you'll get the "Sorry, this page isn't available. The link you followed may be broken, or the page may have been removed. Go back to Pixelfed."

I'm unsure where this is caused by. I don't see anything problematic in the log.

                                  Any help appreciated!

@archos I've just tried your pixelfed instance and it worked - when I uploaded a photo the page refreshed to show the page for the image uploaded - https://pixelfed.cz/p/bernard-ei8fdb/410189202317472251

Do you know what was changed in the instance?

(you can if you like delete my account 🙂 )

@archos one other question - which Cloudron version are you running?

@ei8fdb Thank you for trying. Yes, I've already seen that it works. I haven't done anything. 🙂
Suddenly notifications started coming in from other instances.
I have the latest updated version from Cloudron.
