    Hello,
    How can I change these settings? I can't find a way to do this in the administration. Is there an html file that needs to be edited?

      no, just go to https://masto.url/admin/settings/edit and add the user you want under Contact username

      I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

        I have done that, but unfortunately this field remains empty. Does the name have to have a certain format?

          @Fraggle what you need to set is the Contact username in that settings page and that should be the local username (so without any @ )

            When you click save, make sure it says saved. I got tripped by this as well. But there is a "red" banner on the top, if it didn't save and it asks you to fill up a few more fields.
