@nebulon Hi, you can't log into the application on a bare domain. I tried a new domain for the Immich app, but the login fails. I can't mark the thread as unresolved, so I hope you don't mind me posting here.

@archos I found some strangeness when setting up a new instance as well:

      • I kept getting "Could not connect to server"
      • I logged in as admin in desktop browser and disable oauth.
      • Then , the mobile app connects!
      • Then, I enabled oauth in desktop browser
      • Then, I can login as well in mobile app.

This happens with bare and non bare domain.

@girish will you be adjusting the default install to disable oauth?

@robi Hopefully, we can submit a PR upstream to fix this.

@girish I found out through some testing that oidc login on android worked if Firefox was the default(custom tab) browser but not if Chrome was.

For iOS I found a few errors on the client side: https://github.com/immich-app/immich/issues/3496

By now we fixed a few issues with OpenID on cloudron and iOS. Those are part of Cloudron 7.6.

At least in my tests I was able to use the iOS app now just fine.
