How to proxy-auth for USERS?

I found documentation for proxy-auth for packaging (https://docs.cloudron.io/packaging/addons/#proxyauth) - but how do you enable it for users (in this case for Sterling-PDF)?
Am I missing something? -

Am I missing something?You just choose which users have access during the installation process, no?
