    Hi there,

I am used to getting timeout alerts from Uptime Kuma from time to time. When this happens, the Cloudron interface is usually unresponsive, but the apps still work. I typically wait a while, if it doesn't resolve itself, restart box always worked.

Today was different: I noticed that all apps have stopped, too. So I went to my VPS provider to check the status. It showed that the VPS was stopped. I just hit "start" and everything was fine again after a minute. However, I had no idea why the system shut down. And I don't know where to start my investigation. Do you have any advice?

    Nic

Have you setup other software other than Cloudron ? You can also check if there was some recent unattended upgrade in the logs - /var/log/unattended-upgrades/

@nichu42 If the VPS itself was stopped, there is a chance that the issue is not with Cloudron. Cloudron is just a service and container(s) that are installed on top of the OS you chose for the VPS. If your VPS provider allows, I'd open a support request with them for investigation as to why your VPS was shutdown (crashed or otherwise)

This VPS exclusively runs Cloudron. There was no entry on the unattanded log for this time.
I will open a support ticket with my provider. Thanks, @murgero and @girish!

It was indeed a mishap in my provider's area of responsibility. Thanks again for pointing me in the right direction.
