file extension gets erased if not zipped (BUG/FEATURE request)

I usually zip my files before sharing, but today I didn't do that. Turns out the file gets renamed to a long string when shared and in my case, the file had an .STL extension (3D model format) and it got erased causing the file to appear "broken". Simply renaming the file and adding the extension works fine (file is not actually corrupt in any way). I just wanted to report this and if possible, these extensions can be added to the "allowed" list. The last three are the most common files types used in the 3D world. The first is app specific.
.3DM
.3MF
.STL
.OBJP.S. I haven't tested other file formats, so this might be happening to regular files too like jpeg, etc.

This is the result of a downloaded .OBJ file that was NOT zipped.
The file name gets changed and the extension wiped. It does the same with zip files but the extension of zips aren't affected.
If I add the .OBJ extension at the end, the file will get recognized and works fine then.
My clients aren't that tech savvy so to them, I get yelled at ..."YOUR LINK DOESNT WORK!"

This is now fixed with https://git.cloudron.io/cloudron/cubby/-/commit/47acd6c69841312fdf612bb727f6ee381e068ba5 will probably make a new package tomorrow.
