Followed the instructions in the doc https://docs.n8n.io/integrations/builtin/credentials/twitter/

Got to the end (step 12) where I connect and I get this. Any ideas?

    OAuth Authorization Error
There was a problem generating the authorization URL
Request failed with status code 401

A 401 error code would most likely mean that your credentials are not correct (wrong token/username/password)

I don't think so. Copied/pasted. Just deleted the whole workflow and redid. One thing I'll note is here is step 12 in the documentation

        1. Copy the Client ID and Client Secret displayed in X and add them to the corresponding fields in your n8n credential.

But in the n8n gui it's labeled "Consumer Key" and "Consumer Secret" I trust I am putting these in the correct fields.

One thing it could be. I had the app powered down for months and recently turned it back on. It's been through maybe half a dozen updates. Cloudron is still reporting updates for it. Let me get it fully updated and try again. It seems like Cloudron takes a while to let me know it's still not fully updated.

This app is still needing updates. Sometimes it takes 12-24 hours before Cloudron says it has another update. I've probably updated it a dozen times so far. Ill keep updating. Maybe I should just reinstall it?

Reinstalled, setup from scratch. No change. Maybe I'm doing something wrong and the documentation needs updating?

Possibly, but in such case you should check with the upstream have you check with them yet? They might have a user forum too?

Cloudron maintain and update the package but is NOT the maker of the app, maybe you should check with them as well.

Ignorance is not an excuse anymore!

Sure I can seek that out. This community has been helpful in the past on other apps. Plus I am paying for this through Cloudron. Point taken what you're saying but if the apps don't work there is no point in continuing to pay for this service.
