    Hi Cloudron Community

tl;dr Has anyone here switched from Google Workspace, MS365, or a similar service to Cloudron? If so, are you still satisfied with the change, or is there anything you regret or miss from your previous service?

    Long version:

I am using Google Workspace at the moment. I pay ~15 EUR per month for 5TB of storage and I use Gmail, Drive, Docs, Notes. So just given the fact that they host all the services for me with 5TB of storage for this tiny amount of money would be a no-brainer. But on the other hand I love Cloudron. I have more control over everything and my data and files are more or less in my own hands. Also I simply love hosting my own services and setting up everything.

My work is not related to any of them. I am using Google Workspace for my personal mails, files, notes, docs, etc, while my Cloudron instance is used for several community projects, a few things Google doesn't provide and also some private projects.

I am thinking about using Nextcloud, Cloudron integrated mailserver, and some of the services Cloudron offers to replace Google Workspace. I would like to know your opinions and experiences from those of you that already switched to Cloudron or Nextcloud and stuff in general.

    Thanks a lot

    Best,
    Boris

IMHO the biggest strength of Google Workspace is email deliverability. That is the first thing I would consider before switching.

@igaudette I've been using the built in mail server without any problems whatsoever for a few years now. I had to white/greylist my IP at the very beginning but no issues since.
