This is implemented now but registration is still hard to disable. I have opened a discussion thread https://github.com/lukevella/rallly/discussions/948 upstream

Speaking personally, I wouldn't necessarily want to disable registration, e.g. OIDC for the relevant Cloudron group, registration for everyone else.

And in some instances I'd also quite like users to just be able to use the app without registering like you can on the main instance, but that's not currently possible.

@jdaviescoates agreed, it all depends on the use case. If the goal is to limit the usage of app (create polls in this context) to your org, then it would be nice to have a way to disable registration.
