How to sync files from desktop to Cloudron and thence to other Cloudron applications?

Cloudron makes syncing files between e.g. your laptop to your remote Cloudron, e.g. by using Syncthing.
The difficulty is that when the files arrive on your Cloudron, they are held inside an application's folder structure, e.g. Syncthing's.
How do you easily or automatically relocate these files to a different application, also on your Cloudron, e.g. Nextcloud, Immich, etc?
