    Hello folks!

That's it. I'm looking for a software to handle receipts and expenses, such as Expensify does. The reason is because it's getting really expensive (ha!) for a team of 8. I haven't found anything similar around, but maybe I'm searching in the wrong way.

Any recommendation will be appreciated. Thanks!

I don't actually take advantage of it, but the FreeAgent online accounting software app does this too. So, good value if you're already using that (I am, it's great!)

Not really what you're looking for (unless you're also looking for good accounting software) but figured I'd share anyway 🙂

Lots more alternatives here https://alternativeto.net/software/expensify/ including this nice looking open source one:

I use Cloudron with Gandi & Hetzner

There's an iphone app QuickScan which is free with nagware, or small donation to removes nags.
        Now it has integration Paperless-NGX
So it really helps me to snap a pic in QuickScan and it gets filed into Paperless, then normal bookkeeping process takes over.
Not as end-to-end workflow as expensify I guess (not used it), but it works for me a process.

Oh this is interesting. Would you mind sharing more details about QuickScan? (I search and there are a number of them, and the one I thought it was didn't have integration). Thanks!

You all need to look at Paperparrot

Paperparrot originated as a client for the awesome Paperless-ng(x), a document management system that you can host on your own infrastructure like a NAS, homeserver or a server you rent in the cloud. (…)

At this point, almost the full functionality of Paperless-ng(x) is available locally, without the need for a server. Setup is as simple as downloading the app and adding documents. Still, all documents and custom attributes are available on all of your devices via iCloud.

Of course, the integration with a Paperless-ng(x) server is still a major part of the app. Users can simply enter the credentials to their servers and be ready to go, it even offers functionality some of the other client apps don't have, like spotlight integration, keeping documents available offline or support for saved views. For a deeper dive into available features, read #Features below.

Interesting, but check how the camera scan performs. QuickScan does a great job.
