I've followed the 8.0.3 to 8.0.4 update path. The underlying platform is still on Ubuntu 22.

Will an eventual update to Ubuntu 24 LTS be managed by Cloudron automatically, or do I need to manage the OS level update myself? (I assume not, but I thought I'd ask.)

    Many thanks,
    Matt

    I use Cloudron on a DXP2800 NAS w/ 8TB in ZFS RAID1

You have to update to version 24.04 yourself.

      https://docs.cloudron.io/guides/upgrade-ubuntu-24/

I personally made a second server with Ubuntu 24.04 and did a Cloudron restore using a backup.

You have to manually upgrade the Ubuntu base version either with the posted guide or you could also wholesale restore your Cloudron to a fresh Ubuntu 24.04 server following https://docs.cloudron.io/backups/#move-cloudron-to-another-server

Many thanks, all. I missed that bit of the documentation.

I'll definitely backup; I'm running on bare hardware, and didn't even do myself the courtesy of running Cloudron in a VM. I may... use this as an opportunity to change that.

Either way, this is all I needed. Thank you!
