the protocol should be there already according to https://www.traccar.org/protocols/ however it wasn't clear to me which tcp/udp port this requires. Do you know the usual default port(s) for GT06?

Ok maybe my question might be how do i add a protocol to the location page ?
I dont know the port sorry , not 100% sure.

in the mean time i will configure it to send to 5001 and analyse the logs to identify the protocol and make sure it is what i understand it to be.

The port bindings options have to be added to the package itself. I asked for the port to set a default one, which the other protocols at least have. All ports are just ports, and added more by convention, so you should be able to re-use any of these ports then.

For the ev0 question, you have to ask the upstream traccar project for that then.

@fearanp Were you able to get GT06 working? I'm still struggling with my device.

It looks to me that the package requires support for the GT06 protocol on its standard port, 5023. @nebulon could you please add it to the Cloudron Traccar app package? This appears to be essential for GT06 devices to function correctly.

              Edit:

Just tested this and seems to work perfectly.
