    Happy new year!!

I have a lot of domains scattered over different registrars. Today as I was looking at the Notifications in the Dashboard, I saw there are 12 entries for "Email is not configured properly". I thought, "Wouldn't it be nice if there was an appended text, or mouse-over pop-up, telling me at which registrar this domain is at?" I do have the list in a my Vikunja app, but it's a bit of pain to tab back and forth.

Could it be possible to add extra info to domains?

I think there is no reliable way to figure out the registrar from the domain name. Maybe whois records but availability of this service depends on the registrar. I did put some whois logic into the cloudron-support tool but I found for some of these new TLDs, it does not work.

@girish I don’t think @scooke is asking for it to be automated.
He wants a 20-character (??) plain text field that he can maintain manually.
But maybe I am reading his post wrongly.

Thanks for that, it's in the title "notes for domains". I guess @scooke wants a free text field like we have for apps.

I realize Christmas has passed; that same day was my birthday! But yet, Timcon S'Idine's interpretation is correct: a plain text field to which a Cloudronian can add whatever helpful tidbit is wanted. That was my wish as I blew out the candles.
