Today, we decided to say goodbye to Facebook and Twitter.
Our official way to communicate is now via our blog and our Mastodon account.

I deactivated 7 X accounts last night. FB and Instagram (never used it much anyway) are next once I've got my downloads. Never been on threads. Will reluctantly stay on WhatsApp as 1) it's actually useful 2) the network effects are too strong, and 3) they don't pump misinformation and ads in front of me on there

Just few weeks ago I applied different block lists to hosts file on my pc (https://github.com/jmdugan/blocklists/tree/master/corporations). I would really like to uninstall WhatsApp, but for now I have limited it to one check per day in the morning, Monday through Friday.
