This went by me in the last couple of days:
    https://proton.me/blog/lumo-ai

Here is where it is at:
    https://lumo.proton.me/guest

It seem like there is a new AI player, but it is not clear to me if they are using their own model or outsourcing this with their privacy measures.

It seems very much like Kagi's assistant but European based:
    https://kagi.com/assistant

However, I don't particularly appreciate the omission of Mistral.ai on their comparative table.

Well, it seems as Lumo answered the question by itself:

Lumo uses a combination of Proton's proprietary AI models and carefully selected third-party models. This hybrid approach allows us to leverage specialized capabilities while maintaining our commitment to privacy and security. We integrate models from trusted providers like Mistral.ai and others, but all are adapted to work within our strict privacy framework. Our team at Proton also develops custom models to ensure we can offer unique features tailored to our users' needs.

Proton (as anyone) will put their finger on the scale in comparison charts to make their point.
Doesn’t mean the product isn’t good.
I tried it a little, like it. Need to try it out a little more before deciding whether to use it long term.

@Neiluj thanks for clarifying how they’re doing it. I didn’t see info easily available but I didn’t try very hard.
