Connecting Cloudron Nextcloud to Cloudr Collabora
-
I want to switch from OpenOffice to Collabora [1] but I have some trouble connecting it to Nextcloud. For performance reasons I would love to use the dedicated Collabora Cloudron App.
So I updated both to the newest version, set the correct URLs but keep getting this error:
If I leave the WOPI host blanc in the Nextcloud Office Settings dialog it makes no difference. As of now I use this IP, following the instructions in another thread:

So what do I miss?

Hello @rstockm
It seems you did not follow the documentation: https://docs.cloudron.io/packages/collabora/
Can you please double-check and report back?@james said in Connecting Cloudron Nextcloud to Cloudr Collabora:

Still not working. These are my versions:
Nextcloud Office Version 8.7.5
Nextcloud Hub 10 (31.0.8)
Collabora Online 25.04.5.3.1There is a pending Beta-Update for Nextcloud:
- Changes for new package version 5.5.5:
- Update server to 31.0.9
@rstockm you should go ahead and update to package v5.5.5 . It is stable.
I am not sure why it shows as unstable for you. It was released long time ago (Sep 12).
I only marked package v5.6.0 was marked as unstable because people reported issues in the latest version of nextcloud.

My comment to this thread maybe out of context, but as your information, I have tried for the last 1 year till today, Collabora as Nextcloud Office with Nextcloud Community Edition ,since I have no idea how good Collabora running on NC Enterprise Edition, is not reliable, i've been using onlyoffice and seems onlyoffice is much mature in stability and reliability especially running with NC Community Edition
