    Hi all,

I need to set up some access routes to an external app service that requires a static IP.

I need to be able to access that external service manually via my own browser, and also via apify.com, which we use for a variety of web browser automations.

From what I understand, the Cloudron VPN app can easily support my own manual access. -I'd just need to log in via a VPN client on my local machine.

Apify.com can access web services via any external proxy, but can only do this via a https/SOCKS proxy, not a VPN.

I am not aware of any Cloudron proxy solution that something like apify.com could use as a forward proxy?

I know there is a Cloudron Proxy app, but I think that is a reverse proxy for exposing non-Cloudron apps behind an https endpoint, rather than forward-proxying traffic.

Is a forward proxy something Cloudron can do? Are there better solutions out there?

Yes, forward proxying does not exist on Cloudron . I think forward proxying is handled by services these days and they are quite expensive since they provide special IPs for scraping.
