I have a large file (1,4 GB, "MailstoreFileGroup.fdb") that does not sync in Nextcloud (current cloudron version, some apps activated like ransomware detection).

The Nextcloud client just throws a rather plain error:

"File not synced because of previous errors. The server replied: internal server error"

The Cloudron log file for the relevant time frame does not display error (I think):

I also noticed that I cannot change the maximum upload file size in Nextcloud (at https://domain.com/settings/admin/additional) from the 5 GB default (I thought the above error might be caused by that). If I type any value and press save, I just get a red "Error" sign.

Any idea or any other log I can consult?

For now, I solved it by disabling several Nextcloud Apps such as ransomware detection and antivirus for files.

So you are saying, one of those now disabled plugins/apps were causing the issue then?

@nebulon said in Large file not syncing in Nextcloud / cannot set max file size for syncing:

            It seems so... I disabled

            • https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/files_antivirus
            • https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/ransomware_detection
            • https://apps.nextcloud.com/apps/ransomware_protection

            Now everything works as intended.
The error when setting the max upload file size still exists though.
