      @nebulon

      this i kinda urgent!!

I'm in the process of moving my complete cloudron 4.2.7 from an OVH-VM to my own dedi.
      restoring the backup fails with:

      EACCES: permission denied, open '/home/yellowtent/boxdata/mail/vmail/USERNAME@xxx.xxx/mail/dovecot-uidvalidity.5cbf06e5'

      • it has already restored 2,5G of mails from other users w/o errors.
      • filesystem looks ok.
      • no systemlog errors.

The directory in question looks like:

      drwx------ 2 yellowtent yellowtent 4,0K Apr 23 2019 cur
      -rw------- 1 yellowtent yellowtent 768 Apr 23 2019 dovecot.index.cache
      -rw------- 1 yellowtent yellowtent 1,7K Apr 23 2019 dovecot.index.log
      -rw------- 1 yellowtent yellowtent 106 Apr 23 2019 dovecot-uidlist
      -rw------- 1 yellowtent yellowtent 8 Apr 23 2019 dovecot-uidvalidity
      -r--r--r-- 1 yellowtent yellowtent 0 Apr 23 2019 dovecot-uidvalidity.5cbf06e5
      drwx------ 2 yellowtent yellowtent 4,0K Apr 23 2019 new
      drwx------ 2 yellowtent yellowtent 4,0K Apr 23 2019 tmp

      how to proceed?
can I just restart the restore?
can I manually restore single apps, when the box-restore failed, or does that mix up the rest? I'm thinking of mail-settings, DNS, etc.

Please try again on a fresh Ubuntu install and see if this is reproducible or just some intermediate issue.
