Wasabi for Cloudron Backups
-
I was in an email conversation with Wasabi recommending Cloudron to them, since I recommend Wasabi here so much, so perhaps they will reach our for partnership somehow.
In the meantime they've added Cloudron to their docs, which is a nice endorsement:

Maybe they could use Cloudron to switch from Zendesk to Freescout

@marcusquinn Ah, this is great, thank you so much. We actually did we reach out to them a year or so but didn't hear back
Feel free to ask them to write to me (girish@cloudron.io) directly, if required. -

@marcusquinn Hi, I just tried to get Cloudron -> Wasabi backups working and I am getting the following error:
Error uploading website/snapshot/app_60293dd4-92d0-4903-a460-2a3e6de2dc63.tar.gz.enc. Message: The specified upload does not exist. The upload ID may be invalid, or the upload may have been aborted or completed. HTTP Code: NoSuchUploadI believe I configured everything correctly though of course I may have made an error.
Is anyone else using Wasabi for Cloudron backups successfully?
I did check out the documentation on Wasabi's end and will work on getting this fixed.
Thanks for any help on offer.

@wexlerj Which version of Cloudron are you on ? Also, does it work without encryption ? I think your configuration of wasabi looks correct, otherwise it wouldn't let you save the config in the backup view.
@girish Hi. I believe I am on: v6.3.5 (Ubuntu 20.04.2 LTS).
I actually got it working now using RSYNC instead of a Tarball.
However, using RSYNC takes a long time so my question now is why the Tarball method doesn't work - there may be no temp folder to keep the zipped file I suspect, or something like that.
My next question is what is the restore process - but I am not there yet.
Thanks.
