    Is it possible to use a base image in the dockerfile that is NOT cloudron:<versionnumber>?

      Yes, absolutely it is. I do it anyway and haven't had a single issue with the one custom app I do this with.

          Ooh, also good for getting sysbox up and running easily with a full OS.

          Thought we needed new base image(s).

            @robi Cloudron still makes the filesystem readonly - there has to be a way around this to get sysbox working.

            If sysbox can get working, I have an idea to get VDI rolling in cloudron and that would be AMAZING for enterprise.

              @murgero you're right, thanks for that. That would suggest a new hint to docker to run an OS container differently, which would make it more Unmanaged.

              I didn't see much discussion from our fearless devs in the Sysbox post.
