      Hello friends,
Hope you are doing very well.

I am going to change the super admin email in the new installed discourse but get syntax error. https://prnt.sc/wmi7uu

      How can I solve this?

      Kind regards.

        This is fixed now.
Sorry it was coming from the extra #

I think @Rahim was referring to the '#' in the docs here - https://docs.cloudron.io/apps/discourse/#changing-root-account-email

            Hi @girish
            Yes. You are right.
I just copied and pasted that and didn't pay attention on that.
The doc has # itself so maybe it's better to remove # cause terminal has that by default.

              Hi all,
I am having trouble too changing the root account email according to the procedure. I get errors on every command in the Ruby console.
Does this have to do that it doesn't allow me to login as root when using sudo?
I can copy the errors if you need more information.
              Thanks meanwhile.

@wexlerj Are you running sudo -E -u cloudron bundle exec script/rails console ? Would be good to see what error you got.

Yikes I had made numerous mistakes and it is working now. I had changed my username from admin and I was including the ruby prompts in the commands. I'm still brand new to Cloudron so hopefully I will have less and better questions in the future. Thanks so much @girish
