Just exploring OmekaS and I notice the item show page includes the item title with a text box [ITEM] next to it.

Obviously how it is displayed depends on the theme, but it seems embedded in the page layout, not the theme.

I would like to remove this, and looked at editing the template file show.phtml. But in Cloudron this is read-only.

I would certainly prefer not to muck about with the default layout files. Is there another way to remove the [ITEM] flag ?

Side-note : if the item has a title resource, it shows twice, as page title and in metadata descriptors. May be ok in some uses, but seems like duplication. I guess I can set it to private to avoid double display

I managed to locate in Developer Manual that it is possible to override a template by copying it into a theme directory, and editing it there.
      Will give that a go.
