We have now added a way to manually pay an invoice through the customer portal at https://cloudron.io in case the recurring payment does not work.

This is especially relevant for credit cards which require additiona 2FA or 3DSecure online validation for payments. This is the case for all Indian credit cards since recently and thus allows our Indian customer base to ensure the subscriptions will not end up in unpaid or expired state.

This is some great news, it's always better when you have more options.

@nebulon How exactly does the manual payment work?
Clicking on the "Pay" button on "Invoices" section tried to use the use the saved cards and the transaction fails.

This sounds like a bug in the new cloudron.io account management then. Did you see any errors somewhere or can you describe the behavior a bit more?

Unfortunately I wasn't able so far to reproduce those issues in order to debug and fix them. I only found one issue, where the "Pay" button was still showing while the invoice payment actually went through in the case of cards which do not require going through SCA flow (the credit card 2fa). Maybe this was causing confusion?

@arshsahzad Can you please explain that a bit further?
How exactly did you pay using "invoice"?

@nebulon No, I click on Pay button on the invoice page absolutely nothing happens on the page. But I do receive an email saying payment failed. So it does not take me to a place where I can enter 2fa

@pratik sounds like I have to debug this with your account. Can you please send an email to support@cloudron.io with your cloudron.io account email?
