Feeling like an idiot, maybe I'm missing something.

      • installed cloudron app √
      • installed Mac desktop client √
      • got server token from Cloudron app logs √
      • Mac app crashes when trying to connect to server ❌

The example screen in Cloudron docs doesn't appear in Mac
A different dialog appears, but crashes whatever I try, token or serveradmin password.

      Screenshot 2022-07-17 at 08.11.16.png

Does this app actually work ?

        you're not wrong.

the default mac download has has this issue for years. You need to find the beta client next rev up.

My teams used TS for years until we found Jitsi to be much easier to use, setup and maintain as it works in any browser and has simple electron desktop app with more features ie. video.

@robi thanks for the briefing. Will try it out.
Good advice on Jitsi, I have found this very reliable so maybe will not pursue Teamspeak if the beta revision doesn't play well either.

@timconsidine once properly tuned (which takes a while) TS was very low bandwidth usage which was helpful for some of our remote teams and lossy lines. It still had odd microphone and volume issues.

Jitsi just worked, and recent revisions have a performance tuning slider that makes it easy to further choose performance vs quality.
