Custom Logo

Hi everyone,

im new with cloudron, i use on apple xserve, i used all time osx server, it is my first touch with cloudron and linux.

I have too many questions

First is, i would like to change the emby logo, on windows just need to go to folder ''AppData\Roaming\Emby-Server\System\dashboard-ui\css\images\logo.png'' and change the image png. On cloudron i did not find the location of the folder ''dashboard''. does anyone know how can i find it?

@DanielEdwardz hi and welcome! On Cloudron emby is installed within the app container at /opt/emby-server/ however for various reasons this location is read-only. Theming and customization of apps is mostly only supported with Cloudron if the app has proper support. If we allow users to update files of the app upstream release itself, we won't be able to provide tested and reliable updates.

As expected, the first issue faced reported there is already "OK so I did this - and it was working perfectly. Then we had a server update and it stopped working."

@DanielEdwardz you have to ask the upstream project to make a reliable way to change the logo across updates.

Just adding a note, in case you want to search this further. In the upstream forum, there are some examples of using a custom CSS with pageTitleWithDefaultLogo. The CSS can be set in Branding page.
