      Cubby is available on Cloudron now and under heavy development.

      I tried it and found it was excellent for organizing files kept on a remote server, some of which you might be making available elsewhere.

      Learning Cubby only takes a few moment, and it requires few resources.

      I recommend it and hope more people find it useful too.

        We plan to develop it with a lot more speed in the coming months. But if you have some missing priority feature, let us know.

          @girish Thanks.

          Cubby could possibly be integrated with Cloudron to provide its file browser...

          When Cubby is run on Cloudron, it would be nice to see a "integrate with..." menu, which would connect Cubby with other applications running on the Cloudron.

            @LoudLemur Understand the motivation and also the usefulness in certain use cases.
            But (repeating another comment elsewhere) I like that Cubby is separate and reduces/eliminates any risk of "link bleeding" or hijacking of links.

            I guess that if integration is implemented, it could just be disabled.
            At least that is what I would request.
            In that way its standalone / segregated implementation can be retained.

              @LoudLemur @timconsidine We actually have such discussions quite often 🙂 Surfer, Cubby and File manager have 3 separate file manager systems by now and often we wonder if we should merge them all. Unfortunately, they all use different UI frameworks making it hard to componentize.

                I didn't think of that. It would be important.
