Wekan favicon

You may call me picky, but I just need to ask this: Does anyone know how to have a favicon shown when bookmarking a certain board? Any favicon (I'm fine the Wekan icon itself) would be nice.

Wekan has its own favicon shown, but I'm not sure if it's possible to change it. If it doesn't show up for you, hard refresh the page (ctrl+shift+r) and re-save the bookmark.

Since we're on the subject, you can add your own logo by logging in as an admin and going to WEKAN>ADMIN PANEL > SETTINGS > LAYOUT and add the URL to your logo. You need to add the logo under two places:

• Custom Login Logo Image URL
• Custom Top Left Corner Logo Image URL

This has no effect on the favicon though.

Thank you for your reply! Unfortunately, this does not work. Only wekan.mydomain.tld shows a favicon.
When I save a direct link to one of my boards (i.e., wekan.mydomain.tld/b/crypticnumber/boardname), I get the default icon. It's probably not Cloudron-related, but I thought maybe someone knows how to fix this (if possible, at all).

What webbrowser you use?

@xet7 In my defense: Usually it's Firefox. But my work PC (where I am using Wekan) has Microsoft Edge (Chromium).

I checked in Firefox, and it's working. Okay, this seems to be a Wekan and / or Edge issue.
I think we can close this thread, unless @xet7 has some insights.

Actually I have also seen this. For some reason if you refresh the page for a specific board, the favicon response is HTML, but in the login or all boards view it is the png.

Have to investigate further and create an upstream issue.
