Mastodon - Google Analytics / Tag Manager

I heard it is possible to add Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager code to the Mastodon instance via some custom integration.
Does anyone know how this can be done? It would be super useful to add GA code (preferably through Tag Manager) to the mastodon.

@Vidmid AFAICT, you cannot add it. Atleast, not in an upstream supported way. Do you have any links that suggest otherwise?

Never heard about this. Besides, I don't think adding Google Analytics is something that would be welcomed by the Mastodon community.
