As @girish mentioned, I've meant the App Password.

Verdaccio - unable to generate new OpenID app password after updateAfter the update to version 1.6.9 yesterday the app doesn't show up in the dropdown for creating OpenID app passwords anymore.
Further after resolving the secret key length problem, access with the previously "old" generated password result in a 401.
