I have configured HedgeDoc to not use Cloudron for auth and configured an OAuth2 provider, but nothing is working.

I tried using Amazon Cognito and Nextcloud. Each of these are throwing an "Internal Server Error" and the logs aren't meaningful to me.

I'm very knowledge with authN/authZ systems, but the blackbox here for me is HedgeDoc. It almost feels like it's not properly calling the /token endpoint of the IdP correctly. Essentially throwing a 500 error.

I followed the instructions here for configuring OAuth2: https://docs.hedgedoc.org/guides/auth/nextcloud/.

I was able to configure using GitHub without an issue following this: https://docs.hedgedoc.org/guides/auth/github/. But, I have no access control (authZ) using GitHub, anyone would be able to sign-in.

Has anyone configured this to use either an OIDC or OAuth2 provider successfully? I did read this post, but this was not helpful for me.

Hi @girish, no rush at all on this- but the dependent milestone looks to be complete. Any updates on remark42 getting a Cloudron package soon?

I'm working with a customer that's needing some comment support on their site. I was hoping to use a Cloudron app to do so.

Hello, is there any update/guidance from the Cloudron team on this? As in the original topic posted- profile images not properly working if using S3 as storage?

Anyone else able to figure anything else out with the profile avatar and using S3 compatible storage?

If I'm understanding this correctly (and I could be wrong), this issue was addressed by this commit back in July 2022. And was bundled into the v0.11.4 release, which was made available in Oct 2022.

I have followed the documentation for using Amazon S3 as the underlying data store. Mainly just wanting to use XBackBone as a turnkey frontend solution. I understand AWS IAM very well and access is all set correctly. I able to upload files and everything seems to be working exact one thing! Images are not able to be rendered in the browser.

Is there anything else I need to do on the XBackBone or S3 side?
