I have published a new major version of the app package, so manual explicit update via the dashboard is required to make it clear that we moved to the forked version. As far as I could tell, the data migrated ok, but of course as always ideally do not skip the backup during update.
I've published a new app package using that email related patch now, since also the previous package contained a custom patch, so we are in the same situation in that regard, only now with a finally updated base version.
@girish it would be great if this behavior was described in the cloudron package documentation. it's good that i have now fixed all my email problems in cloudron, but it would have been even better if i had known that the ü in my last name was causing the problems i wanted to work around 😉
For questions how to actually use the app, like how moderation is done, you have to look for help in the upstream app community.
Overall for commento, the Cloudron package still depends on https://gitlab.com/commento/commento/merge_requests/88 which is stagnating for a long time now. If you like chime in there to raise some attention, so we can eventually proceed to follow upstream releases better.
