I want to have an analytics app like this!
I use a saas analytics app (almost like Ackee alternative) because I love its simplicity.
All that I want from an analytics app is just a little information (e.g.the device sizes of visitors and the number of visitors)

Matomo is great for enterprises or advanced people.
I'd like to see Ackee on Cloudron and have it on my server!
I imagine that average people like me prefer a simple analytics app with a clean dashboard, beautiful UI and stress-free UX(in other words learning curves).

Nice one! It's a great-to-have app especially when you want to hang out with your friend and family in the distance.

I'm happy to see Beeper on the wishlist.
I've always wanted to do Matrix bridge thing, but I had to give up a DIY option as I don't have a skillset to make it work on my server.

I'm on the waiting list of both Beeperhq.com and Texts.com (yet another all-the-text-apps-in-one-place app), as I desperately need this.

But It would be great to see it as Cloudron app(s).

I'm still looking into the correct command to execute for my case, but still no clue. (Maybe I should consult a specialist...?)
Iptable looks a bit too advanced for beginners. Still, limiting access to my.yourcloudron.com by IP is one of the essential security features, I think.
If Cloudron UI can let us manage IP address whitelist/blacklist, that'd be a great help for me and people like me.

My question is; is setting up iptables like this sudo iptables -A INPUT -s xxx.xxx.x.x -j ACCEPT can limit the access to the apps on my Cloudron?

I need to achieve these;

1. to limit the access to my Cloudron dashboard login page
2. while limiting the access to the login page, I want to let some pubic apps (Ghost, Wordpress, Lamp) stay public (without IP limit)

Thank you for your advice, yes, I already got OpenVPN on my Cloudron.

I just personally feel uncomfortable/insecure when people can access to the login page just by adding "my." in front of the root domain.
That's why I want to limit the access from random people by allowing an IP addresses from my self-hosted VPNs (Yes, OpenVPN).

That's the format of suggestion what I'm exactly seeking for.
At the moment, all that I can do is copy-paste, so...

.htaccess method would be useful when I want to limit access to individual apps, like Monica or Roundcube.

My need is to block IP only for the cloudron login page (my.mydomain.com).

I'm unfamiliar with iptables.
I searched and read some pages on the web, so I'm sorry if I ask you a pointless question.

As far as I read, iptables settings looks it affects all the Linux VPN.
So my concern is whether I will shut the public accesses to my websites on LAMP and Ghost apps when I execute sudo iptables -A INPUT -s xxx.xxx.x.x -j ACCEPT.

I know this forum is not about teaching tech stuff - but I'd be happy if somebody can guide me through.

I want to limit the IP addresses which can access to my Cloudron instance (my.mydomain.com) for more security.

Is that technically possible?
If so, it would love to know how to do it. ️

I love the user-friendly interface!
I was try to use Mailtrain and Mautic, but I needed to learn too many things before I start using them (and ended up give up and start using Revue and Mailchimp)
I'd definitely switch to it when it's out!

I love Greenhost as they are both eco-friendly and privacy friendly (which enables fill disk encryption).
I hope I can find an equivalent

Will you support xfs in a future?

I have a favorite host called Greenhost. They are carbon neutral, privacy friendly, and full-disk encryption is possible.
But they only support xfs.

I sent them ext4 support request to them but they won't be able to do in near future.
So I'm writing here as xfs support request

My friend told me about Outline. I tried it I like it.
I love its simplicity, as well as the ability to unblocking the internet access when you are in a country with high censorship.

For now, I need to get a new server to get it worked, but it would be great if I can run on my existing cloud on server.

Do you have a documentation/blog post about the Cloudflare API setup for Cloudron?
This is my settings for now, but I'm not sure if I miss something. My instance working alright with the following settings, but if you know the better/secure/correct settings, could you let me know?

I wonder if we can set different domains for LOCAL_DOMAIN from WEB_DOMAIN.

LOCAL_DOMAIN is a part of mastodon username such as user@example.com.
WEB_DOMAIN is for mastodon instance itself https://mastodon.example.com.

It would be super cool if we can make it like that on Mastodon app on Cloudron too.
