Oh, and it's part of the Fediverse!
Hop to desk is a fork of Rust Desk, but much better
it has e2ee and supports more OS

I am just getting tired of the fact that once an EU-based company achieves something, they sell themselves to the USA or China. Both governments are not a single bit trustworthy.
And yeah, I prefer to support local companies MUCH more over giving my money to just another US company that gives a shit about everything as long as they can grab as much money as possible...
+1 for that awesome mascot they have
Have you guys already seen this feature?
I am using it for project management, notes management, story writing, game design ... i run a ton of private spaces and 3 shared with my team
Beeing able to host this thing of Cloudron would be the ultimate game changer for me
Are there any updates on this?
https://tech.anytype.io/how-to/self-hosting
Unfortunately i have no clue on how hard it would be, but i am pretty sure many are interested in this. Maybe we should offer a bounty?
Any new tries here to get this running on cloudron? I am willing to pay, if it doesn't cost an arm & a leg...
In case anybody wonders or is searching for it. There is no "real" admin page. You have to login as admin, then go to your account settings, and at the lower end, you find a "button" that brings you to an account administration page
All went well, apps are restored and all is running as intended
Giving this another push
Oh man, i played a bit with their demo today, how is THIS not part of cloudron yet?
@girish
Well, it's nearly a 1:1 clone of discord, and so it has a massive potential for streamers and their communities to be used. Discord has taken the voice chat market by storm, but now and there more and more stories get published that they log EVERYTHING.
Especially if - for example THIS GUY (
) would pick up a story about revolt on cloudron, make sure your gates will get stormed

This looks very interesting for Cloudron. You can manage backup clkients on any operating system and back stuff up to your server - completely for free.
They also have a Docker thingy for the server install:

Not necessarily, I think THAT'S undoubtedly the benefit of Fediverse Soft. I run my Mastodon Server for me, family and friends only, but they can participate with the rest of the fediverse and still rest assured that no idiotic mega corps is selling their data.
Others can read our posts, but I don't have to manage a bazillion idiots using my server
maybe you wanna check out vaultwarden, it also offers 2fa, but much more in addition as well
@nebulon yes, as far as i understand it's in the 23.10 version - thats the main new shiny thingy
yeah, you need to update your OS to at least version 20, at best, get to 22
I managed more over 200 WP + WooCommerce shops in my active time in roughly 20 years in the business. I really don't get where that "hard to handle" myth for WordPress comes from... try working with SAP - THATS hell on earth xD

any news on mumble for cloudron?
