I switched to Linkding and Singlefile - it seems the only option to reliably save websites for offline reading, including those behind a paywall that I pay for or websites with cookie banners that I already dealt with.

@Gengar No worries, we're on the same page. And no need to discourage anyone from trying.

Update : I noticed that Parse had new versions, so am trying to package those. However Parse has made some security changes which mean the initial approach of mirroring Parse Server and Parse Dashboard as separate apps doesn’t work. So I am back to building a “mono-app” with latest versions of Parse Server and Parse Dashboard in one container, which has some advantages. Focus on using MongoDB but perhaps could do Parse-Mongo and Parse-Postgres as an option after getting the new versions app working. Naively perhaps, but I’m assuming that Cloudron could make alternative db backend easy.

@ahummel if you deploy the tailscale client to your Cloudron server, are you also selfhosting your Tailscale control server ?

@makemrproper We have an instance running on Cloudron @vladimir.d packaged it. Just bear in mind Node-RED doesn't have users, so it's very much a simple shared utility, and you'd need multiple instances if you wanted to separate user access to various things.

@makemrproper I've not played with it, but I think @marcusquinn would say you could very likely replicate all that using a combination of EspoCRM's custom data fields and portal features. A lot more work, but also totally bespoke. But, agreed, regardless of all that it would still be useful to have ERPNext on Cloudron

I'm using Jellyfin in Cloudron but I kept Plex outside, on a dedicated (seed)box, where it works fine and lives along many other seedbox-type services closely integrated with each other and which at least are not impacted by Cloudron updates, with way more bandwidth than I can allow myself on my Cloudron. Also I prefer to keep Plex/*arr/Torrent related stuff apart from my business stuff on Cloudron.

BTW, I've been trying Readeck and it's pretty smooth. The closest I've found to a nice self hosted read-it-later app around
