Forum: Tag "Package Updates" - option to filter

My “start page” of the forum is “Unread”. Due to a near perfect application update workflow, almost 2/3 of the unread messages are package update messages. To be honest, it's a bit boring

There is a filter option in the forum. Is it possible to use a reserved tag for this type of message? If so, can I filter out this type of message?

I second this request.

Although it's also an opportunity to develop an oveerly complicated AI to go a find all these on the forum and click them for you before you have to!

I can tag all those threads with a tag like package-updates . But AFAICT, you cannot filter out in nodebb i.e you cannot say show all tags except package-updates .

I guess you already know but you can also explicitly ignore entire posts.

@joseph Good point. There is no exclude option in the filter settings. And because of new topics without tags, this idea is not helpful. Sorry.
