Docuseal – Unable to send documents to an email address.

Since this morning’s update, I’ve been unable to send contracts with Docuseal — the documents won’t go through:
1 - I kept trying to send the document by email, but nothing is arriving in my inbox.
2 - I tried with another email address — same result, nothing happens.
3 - I reinstalled another version of Docuseal on the side, a completely fresh setup, and none of our documents are being sent despite entering the email address.

No problem sending emails.
The app is configured to send mails using the address below and example.com's Outbound Email settings.

Thanks a lot for your help and suggestions.

The issue is now resolved.

It turns out the root cause was related to the email configuration — the system was missing a properly defined external SMTP relay. Once a working relay was set up and the sender address was aligned with the authenticated user (e.g. noreply@mail.com), everything started working correctly.

This applied to both DocuSeal and another app I tested. One of them required setting environment variables manually to define the SMTP parameters explicitly.

Appreciate the time you took to respond. Hopefully this helps others who might encounter the same situation.
